2009 Class - Bush Lake June 13th, 2009

Congratulations to the 2009 Coastal Kayak Class!! Sixteen students participated led by instructors Bill, Chris, Jill, Jerome and Ron. Thanks instructors!

Check the Calendar for the Wednesday Night Skill sessions and social paddles. The coming weeks include a social paddle on July 1st and an Intro to Rolling skill session on July 8th.

NEWS & INFORMATION

Intro to Lake Superior Weekend - Basswood Island
June 27/28th

Class/Trip combo to the Apostle Islands. If you attended the Coastal Kayak Basic Strokes and Rescues class or have otherwise learned your basic strokes, rescues and other fundamental sea kayak skills, you may be ready to tackle paddling Lake Superior. We'll cover packing your boat, launching and landing, dealing with wind, weather, waves and boat traffic, on the water communication and paddling in groups. Contact Ron to sign up or with any questions.

Oak Island to Stockton August 21st -23rd
Paddle out Friday afternoon/evening to Oak group site A. On Saturday, paddle to Stockton group site B. Back to Red Cliff Sunday afternoon. See calendar for more details. Contact Courtney to sign up or with any questions.
